Today’s the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day! To celebrate, we wanted to let you know how we’re making eco-friendlier choices all around. From recycling and donation, to avoiding the landfill at all costs. But we’re going further than just words, too.

LoadUp was founded 6 years ago to bring honesty and transparency to the waste management industry. It’s a mission we’ve been focused on ever since, and over the years we’ve begun tackling more complex sustainability issues. Our team has become energized in recent months to set new standards in single item junk removal services and return logistics. That is why we are expanding our sustainability efforts into finding ways to improve and make it easier to recycle old mattresses, household goods, and more.

As for our trucks—we’re working quickly since the start of 2020 to add a new program for all drivers nationwide to select their disposal methods in order to encourage and promote eco-friendly choices. We are striving for 90% donation and recycling in every major city by 2021.
