It’s 🌎 Day, let’s celebrate.

April 22, 2024 marks the 54th Anniversary of Earth Day! To celebrate, we wanted to let you know how we’re making eco-friendlier choices all around. From local recycling and donation pickups, to avoiding the landfill at all costs. But we’re not just talk, find out what we are doing year-round to help protect the environment in our communities.

LoadUp was founded 8 years ago to bring honesty and transparency to the waste management industry. It’s a mission we’ve been focused on ever since, and over the years our local employees have begun tackling more complex sustainability issues.

Our team has become energized in recent months to set new standards in single item junk removal services and return logistics. That is why we are expanding our sustainability efforts into finding ways to make it easier to recycle old mattresses and household items.

We’ve improved our driver routing platform to notify the customer with a driver’s location tracker to protect everyone’s time.

We’re encouraging drivers nationwide to choose more eco-friendly disposal methods.

With each junk removal order, we ask Loaders to confirm landfill, recycling, or donation. To make it easy, our Loader portal includes directions to local recycling and donation centers.

In an effort to showcase our sustainability efforts, LoadUp partnered with Plant with Purpose in January 2024. The process is simple, for every junk removal order we perform at LoadUp, we’re donating a portion of the profits to plant trees all across the world. So when you book LoadUp to haul away a couch or any other old junk, you’ll also be helping restore the environment!
