Requirements to Become A Loader

Must pass a background check
We only partner with Loaders who pass a background check, helping customers feel safe when inviting providers into their homes. Loaders cover the background check fee, and we offer options to reduce or remove that cost. An annual background check is required to stay active on the LoadUp Loader app.

Must bring the proper tools
To get any removal, labor, assembly, or disassembly job done, you’ll need to bring general tools that ensure all tasks are completed.
Smartphone required
Loaders on the LoadUp platform use the LoadUp Loader App to view available orders, see payouts, accept and manage orders, access GPS navigation, and close out completed jobs with photos.
Helper required
We require a helper so both our Loaders and customers stay safe. Due to the size and weight of some items, one person alone can’t physically pick up the items. Every helper must be authorized.
Must be 18 years or older
Not Required, but Highly Recommended
General Liability
Various coverage amounts are accepted. General liability protects you when entering a customer’s home. Accidents happen, and when they occur in the customer’s home, the liability coverage will protect you and them.
Worker’s Compensation or Occupational Accident Coverage
In compliance with state guidelines
Lifting and assembling heavy items is a tough job, and we don’t want anyone getting hurt. This is a requirement by state laws that all companies with individuals assisting have them covered. This coverage protects you and your helpers during the possibility of injury.
Vehicle Type Requirements
Do you have a box truck or pickup truck + trailer that is 2010 or newer? Some of our pick ups can be bulky, so larger vehicles ensure we can get all the items in one pick up instead of multiple trips, giving you the opportunity to earn the most money from one job. Trailers can be 6′, 8′, or 28′.
