The timeline for handling furniture ready for pickup can vary depending on a variety of factors, such as location, item type, and quantity. However, LoadUp aims to offer same-day or next-day pickup services whenever possible. When you schedule your furniture donation pickup, LoadUp will provide you with a two-hour arrival window for their team to arrive at your location and load up your items. While the actual pickup time may be affected by traffic, weather, and other factors, LoadUp strives to complete the process as efficiently as possible while ensuring that your items are handled with care.

LoadUp makes it easy to donate almost any item, big or small, to local charities in your area. As long as the item is clean, in demand and works, charities are usually happy to accept it and repurpose it to help others in need. Whether your old item is a large furniture donation pickup to small furniture donation pickup, stuff like mattresses, nightstands and recliners can make a meaningful impact. And if an item is not accepted, we will always do our best to recycle or safely dispose of it, so it does not end up in a local landfill.

Yes! LoadUp’s curbside pickup service is a great option. By selecting curbside pickup when you book your appointment, you’ll receive a $5 discount. With furniture curbside pickup, simply place your items outside your home in a location that is easily accessible by our trucks, such as your front yard, driveway, or by the curb. However, if your old items are particularly heavy, we recommend requesting assistance to avoid injury. And if you’re unable to move the items yourself, we recommend scheduling an in-home pickup instead.

We understand that receiving a furniture donation receipt is important to many of our donors. While we don’t provide donation receipts directly at LoadUp, you can request a receipt from your Loader when applicable and receive a copy of your receipt afterwards. Be aware that the acceptance of items for donation is contingent upon various factors, including location and item condition, and we cannot guarantee that all items will be accepted.
