It’s also better for the planet as paint can be toxic to our environment and may be required by local Saint Helena Island regulations. To dry out old paint for disposal, remove the lid and let the paint air dry in a well-ventilated area away from children and pets. You can also add a paint hardener or an absorbent material like kitty litter, sawdust, or shredded paper to speed up the drying process.
