Celebrating LoadUp Success With A Company Outing
Last month LoadUp made March 2018 our biggest month ever! To congratulate our amazing team members, we embarked on a company outing to show appreciation for everyone’s hard work.
At LoadUp, we like to have a good time and celebrate our wins. Our team members are the backbone of our junk removal company and we celebrate all of our victories in style. It’s good for our customers and good for business because happy employees are the best employees.
Most days we’re focused on productivity, output, and keeping our customers happy, so it’s nice to step away for an evening to enjoy our coworkers. Team bonding activities and outings have a far greater impact on long-term productivity than you can imagine.
Investing in your team builds trust, mitigates conflict, and encourages collaboration and communication. Effective team building is best when done outside the office because it allows team bonding to happen organically. It feels a whole lot less cheesy than icebreaker games in the conference room.
LoadUp Conquers Punch Bowl Social @ The Battery
Our CEO, Greg Workmon, has worked hard to make the LoadUp culture a fun place to work. All employees have the opportunity to participate in monthly company outings.
This month we wanted something exciting and unique in Atlanta. We chose Punch Bowl Social. Punch Bowl offers a fun lineup of arcade games, sports entertainment and features a unique bowling alley on the top floor.
We enjoyed some great food in the company of great people. We did some bowling as well, but we won’t be leaving our days jobs anytime soon to become pro bowlers.
LoadUp & The Atlanta Braves Came Out Swinging
Punch Bowl Social is located in the newly built Atlanta Battery centered around the new stadium for the Atlanta Braves, who also celebrated opening day with us and their much anticipated new baseball season.
The Atlanta Braves were matched up against the Philadelphia Phillies, and won the game in the last inning coming out on top with a victory of 8 – 5 in their season opener. All in all, the day was a great victory for both LoadUp and the city of Atlanta.
Fun Fact: We were Punch Bowl’s second company outing they ever booked in Atlanta! We know this will go down in history.
