Why LoadUp

The easier way to clear out pallets

Breaking down a stack of nail-filled pallets and hauling them yourself is a half-day project nobody wants. Your Loaders handle it so you don't have to.

  • Price locked before you commit

See your exact price before you book. No surprise fees added at pickup, no matter how many pallets you have waiting.

  • Same-day availability

Same-day pickup is available when you book before noon, so you're not waiting around for a municipal bulk pickup schedule to line up.

  • In-home, not just curbside

Your Loaders pick up from your garage, loading dock, driveway, or anywhere else the pallets have ended up. No need to move them first.

  • Donation & recycling first

When local options allow, pallet wood is recycled or repurposed rather than sent straight to landfill. Your Loaders make the call based on what's available.

What to Expect

Full-service removal breakdown

Pallet disposal service details

Pallet pickup pricing is based on the number of pallets and how easily your Loaders can access them. A single pallet at the curb is priced differently than a full stack inside a warehouse or tight garage, and quantity adjustments are shown upfront before you confirm your booking.

Pallets do not need to be broken down or pre-stacked before pickup. Whole, broken, or scattered pallets are all accepted as-is.

Pallet types accepted for pickup

LoadUp accepts all common wooden pallet and skid types, regardless of size or condition.

  • Standard wooden pallet
  • Broken or damaged pallet
  • Oversized pallet
  • Double-faced pallet
  • Stringer pallet
  • Block pallet
  • Wooden skid
  • Pallet stack

Options & add-ons (clearly priced)

Your booking total is transparent from the start. Optional adjustments like quantity increases, difficult access locations, or additional items are clearly shown during checkout so your final price is accurate and surprise-free at pickup.

Volume discounts

The more you remove, the more you save. Discounts apply in real time as items are added.

Flights of stairs

Stairs add time and labor, which is factored in upfront to keep pricing fair for everyone.

Item disassembly

For items that need to be taken apart, add disassembly to your booking during checkout.

Donation drop-off

Choose whether eligible items should be donated when possible during checkout.

Sustainability efforts

Your Loaders prioritize recycling or repurposing pallet wood whenever local options are available, since usable lumber is worth keeping out of landfill. Actual disposal outcomes vary based on pallet condition and what recycling or reclaim facilities are accessible in your area.

Pallet pickup typically starts around $65. Your final price depends on how many pallets you have, whether you choose curbside or in-home pickup, and how easily your Loaders can access them. A single pallet at the curb is priced differently than a full stack inside a warehouse or tight garage. Your exact price is shown upfront before you confirm, so there are no surprises at pickup.

There's no set limit on quantity. Whether you have one leftover pallet from a delivery or a large stack piling up in a warehouse or loading dock, your Loaders can handle it. Pricing adjusts based on the number of pallets, and any quantity changes are reflected in your upfront total before you book.

No preparation is required. Your Loaders take pallets as-is, whether they're whole, broken apart, stacked neatly, or scattered across a space. You don't need to disassemble anything or move the pallets to a specific spot before they arrive.

Yes. Broken, cracked, weathered, and wet pallets are all accepted. The condition of the wood doesn't affect whether your Loaders will take them. The only pallets that can't be picked up are those soaked with hazardous chemicals or contaminated with toxic materials.

Yes. In-home pickup covers pallets inside a garage, warehouse, shop, or anywhere else on your property that requires access. Curbside pickup works when the pallets are already outside in an accessible spot. If you book in-home pickup, someone needs to be present to provide access. If you book curbside, you don't need to be home as long as the pallets are clearly accessible.

Your Loaders prioritize recycling or repurposing pallet wood when local options are available, though actual disposal outcomes depend on pallet condition and what facilities are accessible in your area.

Yes. For businesses with ongoing pallet buildup, the same booking process applies, and you can schedule pickups as often as needed to keep up with your volume.

Standard pallets are too large and bulky for curbside recycling programs, which are built around household-sized materials like cardboard and bottles. Some municipal recycling centers or specialty wood recyclers do accept pallets, but they generally require you to transport them there yourself, which is exactly the hauling problem most people are trying to avoid in the first place.

Sometimes, depending on condition and local demand. Businesses that go through a lot of pallets, like small retailers or contractors, occasionally buy back used pallets in good shape, and some people sell them individually online for DIY furniture or garden projects. Cracked, splintered, or heavily worn pallets usually aren't worth the effort to sell, and that's typically where removal becomes the simpler option.

A stringer pallet uses solid wood boards running underneath for support, while a block pallet uses blocks at the corners and center, which lets forklifts access it from all four sides instead of just two. Block pallets tend to be sturdier and more common in heavier commercial use, though both types are accepted for pickup regardless of which one you have.
