Do not set refrigerators, swing sets, or lawn mowers out on regular trash day. The county collects large metal items by appointment with a dedicated truck and takes only items specifically requested. Freon is removed from refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners before recycling.
Leaves, grass, and branches go in biodegradable paper yard waste bags or a rigid metal or plastic container with handles, marked with an X on all sides. Mesh and fabric bags are not acceptable. Each container is capped at 40 pounds, with unlimited quantity.
