The Problem

Clearing out junk in Heritage Pines takes more than it should

You look up the county's bulk rules, call a few haulers, and wait on callbacks that never come. One wants to visit first, another goes quiet. Meanwhile, the garage stays full for another month.

Free city pickup is great, when it works

Pasco County's bulk collection can handle some large items, but it usually has to be scheduled ahead, comes with limits on what qualifies, and expects everything set out at the street. If you can't drag a heavy item out yourself, it doesn't solve much.

Traditional haulers play pricing games

Many haulers want to come out and look before they'll give you a number, then quote by the fraction of a truck. You often don't know the final price until the job is underway, and by then it's hard to say no.

Donation centers are picky (rightly)

Thrift stores and charities have to be selective, so worn upholstery, stained mattresses, or older electronics often get turned away. Even when they accept something, you may still have to load it and drive it there. Whatever they won't take still needs somewhere to go.

Dumpster rental is overkill for one room

A roll-off container means picking a delivery window, finding space on the driveway, and checking whether your neighborhood allows one. Then you still do all the lifting yourself. For a spare bedroom or a cluttered Florida room, it's far more than the job needs.

What sets us apart

Your price is locked before pickup day

Most companies charge by truck space, and the price often changes on arrival. LoadUp charges by item, based on exactly what you're removing.

  • Per-item, predictable. First item includes the pickup fee. Every add-on is flat, no truck math, no hourly rates.
  • Locked means locked. The price at booking is what you pay. No adjustments, no surprises.
  • No-obligation quotes. Big job or full cleanout? Text a photo for a guaranteed price first.

Neighborhoods Served

Serving Heritage Pines and the whole US-19 corridor of western Pasco

Florida humidity does not care that the old recliner has to leave the lanai, and afternoon thunderstorms rarely wait for a slow move to the driveway. Your Loader does the lifting, carrying, and loading while you stay in the cool air. LoadUp and your Loaders genuinely enjoy showing up for the people of Heritage Pines.

What Happens to Your Junk

Donation first, recycling second, landfill last

Bulky items like worn recliners, old washers, and lanai furniture don't all end up in the same place, so sorting matters in Heritage Pines. Your Loader checks each item's condition and uses local options when possible.

Local Disposal Rules

The Heritage Pines disposal rules most residents don't know

Dumping 500 pounds or more of junk can be a third-degree felony under Florida's litter law, so know these rules for Heritage Pines and unincorporated Pasco County.

Rule 01

Construction debris is only accepted at the West Pasco facility

Construction debris from a home project can be self-hauled only to West Pasco Resource Recovery in Spring Hill, where it is charged by weight. The East Pasco Transfer Station in Dade City does not take it and also turns away commercial waste.

Rule 02

Pasco County does not collect household trash itself

Garbage in unincorporated Pasco is collected by county-licensed companies that residents pay directly, or in some cases through an HOA or CDD. Residents without a service may bring up to 8 bags of garbage per day to a county facility free, with proof of residency.

Rule 03

Storm-downed branches go out in 4-foot bundles

After Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Pasco County collected about 1.3 million cubic yards of storm debris. Once the special cleanup ended, the county told residents to bundle leftover yard waste into 4-foot sections and put it in trash cans or at the curb for regular pickup.

Rule 04

Mattresses and ladders count as bulky waste under county code

Pasco's solid waste ordinance defines bulky waste as items too large for a county approved container, including mattresses, bicycles, ladders, large pieces of furniture, and large fixtures and appliances. Residents arrange bulky pickup through their licensed trash service or take items to a county facility.

Rule 05

Large loads of paint and flammable liquids need scheduling

Pasco residents can drop off household hazardous waste items at no charge. Larger loads of oil and flammable liquids, or larger quantities of paint, have to be scheduled ahead of time with Pasco County Solid Waste.

Rule 06

Discarded tires fall outside the county's bulky waste definition

The same county ordinance that lists mattresses and appliances as bulky waste states that bulky waste does not include discarded tires. Pasco County tells residents to bring tires directly to a county Solid Waste facility instead.

No. Pasco County does not pick up trash itself. You sign up with a private hauler for curbside service, and large or bulk items either go to a county Solid Waste facility or you ask your hauler about bulk help. Proof of residency is required at county sites.

LoadUp pricing for junk removal in Heritage Pines starts at $80, and curbside or driveway pickup takes a flat $5 off. The first item includes the base pickup fee, each additional item is a flat add-on, and the exact total is confirmed before booking.

Same-day or next-day pickup is often available when you book before noon, depending on the schedule in your area. Enter your address during booking to see open times. Curbside items usually don't need anyone home, and indoor pickups need access arranged.

Residents can self-haul to West Pasco Resource Recovery at 14606 Hays Road in Spring Hill. Furniture costs $91.25 per ton, and up to 8 bags of trash per day are free. Paint, oil, fuel and batteries go to the county's household hazardous waste program instead.

Loaders aim to donate usable items and recycle what they can, depending on acceptance by local partners. Anything that can't be donated or recycled goes to an appropriate disposal facility. Outcomes vary by item condition, and none are guaranteed.

You book online, pick the items and a time window, and see your total before confirming. On pickup day your Loader arrives, confirms the items, and hauls them away. You can usually leave curbside items out, and indoor jobs need someone home or access notes.

Sometimes, yes. If you own a truck and have a small load, county self-haul at $91.25 per ton, with 8 bags of trash free, can cost less. LoadUp makes sense when you want heavy lifting handled and a price confirmed upfront, so you skip the trip.

Mainly pricing and booking. Traditional haulers typically charge by truck volume and may quote on site, while LoadUp prices per item online and confirms your total before anyone arrives. Truckload pricing can work out better for very large cleanouts.
