Junk has a way of piling up until it owns the place. Book a pickup in the Key City, see your price upfront before you confirm, and get it gone without lifting a thing.
You read the sanitation rules, call to ask what counts as too big, leave messages with two haulers and hear back from one. A week later, the junk is still sitting exactly where it was.
Everything has to reach the curb on your own first, and the program only takes what fits beside your cart on your second collection day. Large piles, renovation debris and whole-house loads are out, and addresses past the city line follow different rules.
Most local outfits want to walk the job before quoting, so you lose an afternoon waiting on an estimate window. Then the number comes back by the truckload, judged by eye, and it can climb once your stuff is actually on the truck.
Intake standards are strict for good reason: anything with water damage, a musty smell from a closed-up attic, or a torn frame gets turned away, and most places won't take mattresses at all. That leaves you hauling the rejects home and starting over.
A roll-off ties up your driveway for days, and on a narrow street or a sloped lot there may be nowhere to set one without permission first. You still fill it yourself, in the heat, while the neighbors look at it.

A sleeper sofa coming up from a damp basement or down a narrow staircase in an older home is routine work for your Loaders, who are background-checked and rated by real locals in Vicksburg after each job.
If everything is already sitting at the street, in the driveway, or outside the garage, curbside keeps it simple. Choose full-service when your Loaders need to carry items out of a basement, attic, or upstairs bedroom, or when a sloped lot or tight street means the truck has to park a good walk from the door.

Anybody who has pushed a loaded wheelbarrow up a Vicksburg driveway knows the grade here does not forgive. Half the yards in town climb, drop, or do both, and a sleeper sofa gets heavier every step. Your Loaders take that walk for you, July humidity and all, and they like showing up for the people here.
Most Vicksburg cleanouts mix pieces still worth using with things long past saving, so condition decides the outcome. Your Loaders sort as they load, looking for donation or recycling options where local availability allows.
Furniture, working appliances, and household goods that are clean, dry, and intact may go to a local reuse organization when one nearby accepts them. For a receipt, donate those pieces yourself before booking.
Items too worn for reuse can still hold metal, wood, or usable parts. Your Loaders set those aside for a scrap or recycling option when one is available in the Vicksburg and Warren County area.
Water-damaged sofas, mold-stained mattresses, and bulky pieces pests have reached cannot be reused. Your Loaders take those to a licensed disposal facility, where most mixed household junk from Vicksburg ends up.
Dumping more than fifteen pounds of waste illegally in Mississippi is a misdemeanor, and Vicksburg and Warren County set the specific disposal rules below.
Vicksburg's curbside hauler takes bulky household items like furniture and bikes beside your city cart on the second pickup day only, capped around two cubic yards, roughly one refrigerator. Large piles stay behind.
The city's solid waste collection contract excludes appliances, building materials, and trees cut down by a contractor. Those items remain the property owner's responsibility, which is why they sit untouched after a normal collection day.
Warren County rubbish sites turn away refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners that still hold refrigerant, accepting them only once the freon is out. Federal law requires certified technicians to recover refrigerant before disposal.
Limbs set outside the cart must be four feet or shorter and securely bundled, with each bundle under fifty pounds. Bagged leaves beside the container are limited to five bags outside the annual leaf season.
Vicksburg puts responsibility for building debris on the contractor or property owner, and that material cannot be placed at the curb. Warren County Class I rubbish sites accept wood, metal, brick, concrete and asphalt instead.
Class I rubbish disposal sites serving Vicksburg list televisions, computers and monitors as prohibited, along with whole tires and batteries. Those electronics need an electronics recycler, and several operate in and around town.

(678) 884-4738The city contracts with WM for twice weekly collection in your 96 gallon cart. Small limbs and small or medium appliances can go inside it, and overflow items may be placed beside the cart on your second pickup day. Loose junk left out without following those rules often won't be collected.
LoadUp pricing for junk removal in Vicksburg starts at $80, and curbside or driveway pickups take $5 off. The first item covers the base pickup fee and each additional piece is a flat add-on, so your full total is confirmed before you book. Traditional haulers usually charge by the truckload, often $150 to $500.
Same-day and next-day slots are often open across Vicksburg and Warren County when you book early in the day. Availability depends on your zip code and the daily schedule, so entering your address during booking shows the live open times for your street.
WM won't take construction debris, tires, auto parts, electronics, or household hazardous waste like paint, oil, and cleaners in the city cart. Those usually go to the Vicksburg Warren County Landfill on Eighty Pit Road or a private hauler. LoadUp Loaders handle most bulky and heavy junk, though hazardous items still route to proper facilities.
Loaders try to keep usable items out of the landfill whenever possible. Furniture and goods still in good shape may be donated to places like the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Mission 66 or charities in the nearby Jackson area, depending on acceptance. Whatever can't be reused or recycled goes to the appropriate facility.
You list the junk you need gone, enter your Vicksburg address, and pick a time online, with your price locked in before you confirm. On pickup day your Loaders typically call about 30 minutes ahead, then do all the lifting and loading so you don't have to move anything yourself.
For curbside or driveway pickups, no. You can leave items out with access notes at booking. For in-home removal, someone should be present or you can provide entry instructions ahead of time. Your Loaders usually call roughly half an hour before they arrive.
It comes down to pricing and booking. National names like 1-800-GOT-JUNK and local crews such as AAA Rousse or Elite Disposal often quote by truckload after an in-person look. LoadUp prices your junk per item online and locks the total before anyone shows up, so there's no driveway estimate.
