To dry out old paint for disposal, remove the lid and let the paint air dry in a well-ventilated area away from children and pets. You can also add a paint hardener or an absorbent material like kitty litter, sawdust, or shredded paper to speed up the drying process.

If you physically can’t move the items yourself, or don’t have someone to help you, we recommend scheduling an in-home pickup instead.
