When junk piles up, it's one more thing nobody wants to deal with. Book a quick pickup in Dixie, see your real price before you commit, and get your space back.
You search online, call the city, and wait on hold to hear about pickup rules. Then you ask a few haulers for quotes, and some never call back. Weeks go by, and the junk is still in the garage.
Municipal pickup schedules can help, but they usually come with limits on what goes out, how much, and when. You often have to request a spot ahead of time and then drag everything to the street yourself. That doesn't work if you need it gone this week.
Many haulers want to come look at your pile before they'll give you a number. Then the price is based on how much of the truck it fills, which you can't really judge ahead of time. You find out the real cost after everything is already loaded.
Thrift stores and charities have to be careful about what they accept, so stained, broken, or worn items often get turned away. You still have to load and drive everything there, and whatever they won't take comes back home with you.
A roll-off bin is built for big remodels, not one cluttered spare room. You'll need to plan delivery and pickup, find room in a driveway that bakes in the desert sun, possibly deal with HOA rules, and still lift every heavy piece in yourself.

Wrestling a mattress into a truck bed while a St. George summer sun turns the seatbelt buckle into a branding iron is nobody's idea of a good weekend. Your Loaders do the lifting, carrying, and hauling, and they genuinely like showing up for the neighbors who call this place home.
Bulky items pile up fast in St. George, from downsized households to remodel leftovers, so where they end up matters. Your Loader sorts each item by condition, favoring donation or recycling when local options allow.
Furniture, appliances, and household goods in good, clean condition may be donated when local options allow. Your Loader sets these aside for that path where available, though acceptance is never guaranteed.
Items that are damaged but still have usable materials, like metal frames or certain electronics, may be recycled when possible. Your Loader separates them where local recycling options are available.
Heavily damaged, soiled, or worn-out bulky items that can't be donated or recycled are hauled off by your Loader for responsible disposal at an appropriate facility serving the St. George area.
Uncovered loads at the city Reuse Center draw an added fee, and the wrong materials get refused outright. Here is how disposal works in St. George and Washington County.
The St. George Reuse Center classifies any part of palm trees, plus pampas grass, cactus, yucca, bamboo, tumbleweeds, oleanders, and sod, as green waste trash that cannot be composted. It carries a higher rate than grasses, leaves, and limbs, so separating loads pays.
Because of the hazardous materials inside them, refrigerators and freezers are not accepted at St. George City Clean-Up Day sites. The city directs residents to schedule a pickup through Republic Services, which also arranges large item pickup at any time of year.
Washington County Solid Waste currently classifies solar panels as hazardous waste, so they can only come to the Washington County Landfill on Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days. The service is free for residents bringing materials from their homes, but business waste is refused.
The St. George Reuse Center is built for green waste. It will not take painted wood, lumber with nails, building materials, appliances, concrete, or asphalt, and it also refuses plastic, cardboard, and household garbage, so remodel debris needs a different destination.
St. George places dumpsters at multiple locations twice a year for household items too big for residential bins, with city equipment on site to help load heavier pieces. Commercial dumping is prohibited, and tires and petroleum products are refused.
St. George bars TVs, batteries, and cell phones from its City Clean-Up Day dumpsters and directs residents to the landfill instead. At the Washington County Landfill, bulging batteries are accepted only on Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days.

(678) 884-4738Generally no. Junk set out at the curb outside of your regular trash day, or beside your bin, can be treated as illegal dumping. Check with the City of St. George sanitation division for current bulk rules before putting anything out.
LoadUp pricing for junk removal in St. George starts at $90, and curbside or driveway pickup takes a flat $5 off. The first item includes the base pickup fee, each additional item is a flat add-on charge, and the exact total is confirmed before booking.
Sometimes. Same-day slots depend on Loader availability and your address, so enter your zip code during booking to see live openings. Next-day and scheduled appointments are usually easier to get, especially on busy weekends.
Not for curbside or driveway pickups. Items can be left out with access notes. For items inside a home, garage, or storage area, someone should be present or you can leave access instructions at booking. Your Loader sends a heads-up before arriving.
Hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, pesticides, fuel, and propane are typically not accepted by haulers. Those need a household hazardous waste drop-off. Check with Washington County and the City of St. George for current drop-off options and rules.
Loaders aim to donate usable items to local charities whenever possible, and try to recycle metal, cardboard, and electronics where facilities accept them. Whatever can't be donated or recycled goes to the appropriate disposal facility. Outcomes depend on item condition and acceptance.
Pick the items online, choose a time window, and see your total before you confirm. On pickup day, your Loader arrives in the window, loads everything, and handles the sorting afterward. Curbside items just need to be easy to reach.
The pricing model and booking flow. Traditional haulers often price by truckload and may confirm the total on site. LoadUp prices per item online, so your total is confirmed before booking. For a truckload of mixed junk, a traditional hauler may be the better fit.
