Junk has a way of piling up until it becomes one more thing on your list. LoadUp makes it simple in Ocean Bluff: a quick pickup, with the price shown before you book.
You check the town website, call about pickup rules, and request a few hauler quotes. One calls back, one wants to visit first, one never answers. Weeks pass, and the junk is still in the spare room.
Marshfield's municipal pickup schedules help with routine trash, but bulky items often need advance requests, stickers, or a separate arrangement. Massachusetts bans items like mattresses and TVs from regular trash, and nobody carries anything out of the house for you.
Many haulers want to see the job in person before quoting, then price by a fraction of a truckload you can't measure yourself. The final number can shift on arrival, which makes planning a cottage turnover or renovation cleanup a guessing game.
Donation spots want clean, working items in good shape, and pieces that sat through damp coastal winters often don't qualify. You still have to load the car, make the drive, and figure out what to do with whatever gets turned away.
A roll-off container needs delivery scheduling, possibly a permit for street placement, and enough room to park it, which is scarce on narrow village lanes. Then you're the one lifting everything over the wall, for a job that might fill a corner.

Steep outdoor stairs on a raised cottage and narrow side paths between houses are routine for your Loaders, who are background-checked and rated by real locals in Ocean Bluff after each job.
If the salt-worn deck chairs are already stacked at the edge of your driveway, curbside (outdoor) pickup is the simple fit. For a sleeper sofa in a low-ceilinged shore home or anything stuck behind a narrow back door, choose full-service and your Loaders will carry it out from inside.

Anyone who has tried to back a borrowed pickup down a narrow shore lane on a July weekend, past beach-day parking and bumper-to-bumper cars, knows a sleeper sofa can win that fight. Your Loaders do the lifting and carrying so you don't have to, and they like showing up for the people who keep this village going.
Bulky items from shore homes rarely belong in one place once they leave the house, which is why sorting matters in Ocean Bluff. Your Loader judges each item's condition and, when local options allow, keeps usable pieces out of the landfill.
Furniture, housewares, and other items in good, clean condition may be donated when possible and where local options allow. Your Loader sets those pieces aside during loading, so reusable things get a second life.
Items that are worn or damaged but not donatable, like scrapped metal frames or old appliances, may be recycled where available. Availability varies, so recycling depends on what local options accept at the time.
Heavily damaged, waterlogged, or contaminated bulky items, such as swollen furniture or rotted deck pieces, go to responsible disposal. Your Loader handles the lifting and loading, and the final destination depends on what suits the item.
Getting these wrong can mean a rejected load and a second trip, so here is how disposal works for Ocean Bluff households in Marshfield, Plymouth County.
Households that drop Marshfield's town trash service must surrender all transfer station stickers and give up rights to town services. Seasonal cottage owners weighing a private trash contract should know transfer station access, including bulk item and yard waste drop-offs, goes with it.
The transfer station's Paint Shed takes oil-based paint only from May through October, and latex paint is not accepted there. Latex is not hazardous: dry it out with cat litter, put the solids in the trash, and recycle the empty can.
The Marshfield Transfer Station allows one bulk item per week, such as a couch, chair, or bureau, using your bulk item card. Emptying a full room of furniture yourself can stretch across several weeks of trips.
Marshfield's transfer station accepts appliances, propane tanks, bikes, and grills as scrap metal, which helps when clearing out a cottage at the end of the season. Freon items, TVs, and monitors each carry a separate per-item fee.
Marshfield's Swap Shop, open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, gives usable goods a second life, but items must be in good condition. Pillows, bedding, and sofas are not accepted there, so those pieces need a different disposal route.
Since November 2022, MassDEP has banned mattresses and box springs from disposal so their steel, foam, and fabric can be recycled. Marshfield residents bring them to the transfer station, where each mattress or box spring carries a per-piece resident fee.

Loaders try to keep usable items out of the landfill. Whenever possible, they take furniture and household goods to local donation partners and recyclable materials to recyclers, depending on acceptance. Items that can't be donated or recycled go to the proper disposal facility.
Not for curbside or driveway pickups. You can leave items out with access notes. For items inside a home or cottage, someone should be there, or you can give access instructions when booking. Your Loader will contact you before arriving.
Mostly pricing and booking. College HUNKS and similar haulers price by the truck space your items need and often start with an estimate. LoadUp prices per item online, and the total is confirmed before booking. For big cleanouts, a truckload hauler may fit better.
