Above ground pool disposal FAQ's
Can LoadUp disassemble my swimming pool for me?
Although LoadUp doesn’t handle pool removals that require a permit or specialized license, we’re happy to assist with junk removal and partial disassembly of a freestanding pool. The pool must not be attached to any decks or buildings, and all plumbing and electrical connections must be fully disconnected prior to your Loader's arrival. Please note that it is up to you and your Loader to research and comply with local laws about permits or licenses. Once those steps are complete, they'll handle the removal and ensure everything is hauled away for eco-friendly disposal.
Do I need to drain my swimming pool before my pickup appointment?
Yes, draining your pool is necessary before pickup. No matter what type of pool you have, it must be empty. After it's drained, your team of Loaders will haul it away for disposal. This helps us remove your swimming pool quickly and safely.
Can you drop my pool off at a Josephine County recycling facility?
Yes, recycling your above ground swimming pool is a great way to help the environment and reduce waste in Josephine County landfills. When you book a pickup in New Hope, you can request that we take your old pool to a recycling center. We’re an eco-friendly company and love to recycle whenever we can. However, please note that recycling your pool depends on the availability of recycling centers in your area.
