The JRDA Landfill lists ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and lawnmowers among accepted household waste, but its posted rules turn away any vehicle without a title. Track down the paperwork for a dead sled or quad before it leaves the garage.
At the JRDA Landfill, household waste, construction and demolition debris, metal, and plant life must be separated and dumped in designated areas. Construction and demolition material also carries a lower per-ton rate than household waste. Sorting before the trip saves time on site.
Juab County requires every load arriving at the JRDA Landfill to be roped or tarped so debris does not litter public and private property along the way. Unsecured loads are subject to a double fee, and the landfill accepts credit cards only, not cash.
Curbside recycling in Nephi is a voluntary Recyclops subscription. Subscribers break boxes down flat and set them beneath the recycling bags. Without a subscription, the JRDA Landfill lists cardboard among accepted household waste.
