When junk piles up in the Chili Capital of Texas, it gets old quick. Book a pickup, see your price upfront, and get your space back without lifting a thing.
You search online, call the city, leave messages with a couple of haulers, and wait. One calls back with a vague number, another never does. Weeks go by, and the pile in the garage hasn't moved.
City bulk pickup programs help when your items fit the rules. They usually come with a schedule to follow, limits on what qualifies, and a requirement that everything sits at the curb first. Heavy things still need to get out of the house somehow.
Many haulers want to see the job in person before they give you a number, then charge by how much of the truck you fill. You often don't know the real cost until the load is on board and it's too late to say no.
Donation centers need items they can actually resell, so stained cushions, worn mattresses, and broken furniture often get turned away. You still have to load and drive it there yourself, and you might end up hauling half of it home.
A roll-off container makes sense for a full gut job, not a spare bedroom. You'll have to plan around delivery and pickup dates, maybe check whether you need a permit, and live with a big steel box in your driveway that your neighbors notice.

Curbside works well when items are already on the driveway or at the end of a long gravel drive out in rural Caldwell County. Choose full-service when a dresser is stuck in the narrow hallway of an older in-town home, and your Loaders will carry it out from inside.

Loading a busted dryer into a borrowed truck is hard enough in a Central Texas July, and the live oak limbs after a storm don't haul themselves. You pick the time, and your Loader does the lifting, carrying, and loading. Lockhart looks out for its own, and we're glad your Loaders get to show up for you.
Bulky items rarely leave a Lockhart home the same way, which is why where they end up matters. Your Loader sorts each load by condition, so reusable pieces and recyclable materials are kept out of the landfill when local options allow.
Furniture and household goods in good, clean condition may be set aside for donation when local options allow. Your Loader handles the lifting and loading, and donation is never guaranteed for any item.
Items that are worn or damaged but not suited for donation may be recycled where available, such as scrap metal or appliances. Your Loader separates what can be recycled when possible.
Heavily damaged, soiled, or broken-down bulky items, like water-ruined couches or collapsed mattresses, are hauled away by your Loader for responsible disposal at an appropriate facility serving the Lockhart area.
Items left at the video-monitored Lockhart Recycling Center that it does not accept count as illegal dumping and can be prosecuted, so know these rules for Lockhart, Caldwell County.
Lockhart residential customers have unlimited access to the Environmental Park 130 Landfill for residential waste at no additional charge, but each visit is limited to 6 cubic yards. Larger cleanouts mean multiple trips.
Lockhart's monthly brush and bulky collection takes up to 4 cubic yards per household at no additional charge. Limbs must be cut to 4 feet or less, no thicker than six inches, and tied in bundles no heavier than 50 pounds.
Electronics such as TV's, telephones, and radios appear on the accepted list at the Lockhart Recycling Center, the city's drop-off site. Using it keeps bulky screens out of curbside trash service, which is now cart-only.
The Lockhart Recycling Center does not accept construction materials, toilets, or sheet glass. The city directs lumber to its special items drop-off for a fee, but only with nails removed, so pull fasteners before loading up remodel scraps.
The Lockhart Recycling Center accepts cardboard and boxboard, but wet cardboard or boxboard is not accepted. After a Central Texas downpour, keep moving boxes flattened and stored under cover so a garage cleanout's worth of cardboard stays recyclable.
The Lockhart Recycling Center accepts motor oil, used antifreeze, and cooking oil, which helps with garage cleanouts. Paint, chemicals of any type, batteries of any type, fertilizers, and yard chemicals are on its not-accepted list.

You choose your items online, see the price, and pick an arrival window. A Loader contacts you before arriving, removes the items and takes them away. You don't need to move anything to the curb unless you want the $5 curbside discount.
The pricing model differs. Many traditional haulers price by truck space and confirm the final number on site. LoadUp prices per item online and confirms the total before booking. For a few items, per-item pricing can cost less, while a full-house cleanout may suit a truckload quote better.
