The state environmental agency oversees both programs, which give old desktops, laptops, monitors and TVs a route other than the trash tote.
Every resident and business owner within city limits must use Hill Country Waste Solutions, the city's only trash provider. New accounts need an application, a driver's license and a deposit before service starts. Trash is collected every Thursday.
