When junk piles up in Hayesville, it gets harder to ignore. LoadUp makes the fix simple: pick a time, get a confirmed arrival window, and have it hauled away.
You call the county, look up drop-off rules, and leave messages with a few haulers. One quotes, one never calls back, and weeks later the pile is still sitting in the carport.
Many small mountain towns don't run a scheduled bulk pickup at all, so the free route usually means loading items yourself and driving them to a county convenience site. Rules on what's accepted can change, and that doesn't help if you have no truck.
Plenty of haulers want to come look before they'll give you a number, then quote by how much of the truck you fill. You often don't know the real total until the job is done, and that's hard to plan around.
Donation centers need things they can actually resell, so stained, broken, or worn items often get turned away. Most also won't pick up from a steep gravel drive, which still leaves you doing the lifting and driving.
A roll-off container takes up your driveway for days, may need a delivery window you have to plan around, and can be tough to place on a sloped or narrow lot. For one room of clutter, that's a lot of steel.

Your Loaders carry heavy items up narrow basement stairs and across sloped gravel drives to the truck. Every Loader is background-checked and rated by real locals in Hayesville after each job.
If fallen limbs or an old water heater are already out by the road or at the top of your driveway, curbside is the simpler fit. When items are still in a basement, up in a cabin loft, or far from where a truck can park on a long gravel drive, choose full-service and your Loaders carry them out from where they sit.

Wrestling a busted dryer up a steep gravel driveway and into a car never meant for it is a special kind of Saturday in the mountains. Your Loaders handle the lifting, the carrying, and the loading, and they genuinely like showing up for Hayesville neighbors who would rather spend the weekend outside.
Bulky items are hard to move alone, especially on hilly Hayesville properties, so where they end up matters. Your Loader sorts each item by condition, favoring donation or recycling when local options allow, and disposal when needed.
Furniture and household goods in good, clean condition may be donated when local options allow. Your Loader sets those items aside for that path, though options in a rural county can be limited.
Items that are worn or damaged but still hold usable materials, like metal frames or appliance parts, may be recycled where available. Your Loader separates them when possible, since recycling access varies across the county.
Heavily damaged, soiled, or broken-down bulky items, such as waterlogged carpet or splintered decking, are disposed of responsibly. Your Loader handles the lifting and loading, and Hayesville-area disposal follows current local rules.
Getting an appliance, tire, or burn pile wrong can get your load turned away or earn you a violation notice. Here's how disposal works in Hayesville and across Clay County.
North Carolina bans white goods from landfills, and the refrigerant in refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must be recovered before they are scrapped. When you buy a new appliance, you pay a state white goods disposal tax that helps fund county collection sites.
North Carolina law requires that any load hauled on a public road be secured or covered so nothing falls, blows, or leaks out. On the winding roads around Hayesville, loose furniture and mattresses can shift quickly, and spilled debris can also lead to littering charges.
Since 2011, state law has kept discarded televisions and computer equipment out of North Carolina landfills. Manufacturers help pay for local electronics recycling, so old TVs and computer gear from a Clay County cleanout should go to a recycling collection, not the trash.
North Carolina lets you burn leaves, limbs, and other plants grown on your own property. If the pile is within 500 feet of woodlands and more than 100 feet from an occupied dwelling, you need a North Carolina Forest Service permit. Drought burn bans override permits.
Since 2009, North Carolina has banned wooden pallets from municipal solid waste landfills. Set aside pallets from a garage, barn, or shop cleanout for reuse, wood recycling, or construction debris disposal instead of throwing them out with regular trash.
North Carolina charges a scrap tire disposal tax on every new tire sold, and whole tires are banned from landfills. Counties use that money to manage scrap tires, so dropping off tires may come with quantity limits or a certification form.

(678) 884-4738Not safely. Clay County, NC has no general curbside bulk pickup that I could confirm, and items left out without a plan can be treated as illegal dumping. Most residents haul to a county drop-off site or hire a hauler, so check with the county first.
LoadUp pricing for junk removal in Hayesville starts at $75 for a single item, and curbside or driveway pickup takes $5 off. The first item includes the base pickup fee, and each additional item is a flat add-on charge. The exact total is confirmed before booking.
Sometimes. Same-day and next-day slots depend on Loader availability around Clay County, and rural addresses near the Georgia line can have fewer openings. Enter your address during booking to see live availability. For curbside items, you usually don't need to be home.
Likely yes. Clay County adopted a solid waste ordinance in July 2025 covering availability fees and tipping fees to support its transfer station. Rates and accepted materials can change, so confirm with the county before loading your truck.
Loaders aim to donate usable items and recycle what they can, depending on acceptance at nearby facilities. Items that can't be donated or recycled go to an appropriate disposal facility. Outcomes vary by item condition and what local partners will take.
You book online, choose your item and a pickup window, and see your price before confirming. Your Loader typically gives notice before arriving, then removes the item from inside or outside your home. Access notes help on long mountain driveways or gated lake properties.
The main difference is the pricing model. Many traditional haulers price by truckload and confirm the cost on site. LoadUp prices per item online, so the total is set before anyone arrives. For a few items that is often simpler, while a full-house cleanout may suit a truckload hauler.
A dumpster can work for a long renovation or estate cleanout where you'll load everything yourself. For a handful of bulky items, per-item pickup avoids rental fees, driveway placement, and the lifting. Check any HOA or lake community rules before placing a dumpster.
