Junk has a way of piling up until it becomes one more chore nobody wants. LoadUp makes it simple for Morrison: see your price upfront, book online, and have it hauled away.
You look up the rules, call around about pickup, ask a hauler or two for a quote, and wait on callbacks that may never come. A few weekends go by, and the junk is still in the garage.
Municipal pickup schedules can work well for a few bags or a small item. Bulky pieces, appliances, and cleanout volume often run into limits, advance requests, or set dates. If the timing doesn't fit your move-out or turnover, the junk stays put.
Many haulers want to see the job in person before they give you a number. Then the price is based on how much of the truck your stuff fills, and you may not know the final cost until they've loaded everything.
Donation centers have to be selective. Worn upholstery, stained mattresses, older electronics, and broken furniture often get turned away. Even when something qualifies, you still have to load it, drive it there, and hope they have room.
A rented dumpster can sit in your driveway for days, block your parking, and may need permission before it goes down. For one basement or a spare room, you'd be paying for space you won't use, and you'd still be doing the lifting yourself.

Steep, narrow basement stairs in an older house are routine for your Loader, who carries an old washer up and out. Every Loader is background-checked and rated by real locals in Morrison after each job.
If the old mower or scrap lumber is already in your driveway or beside a detached garage, curbside keeps things simple. For a recliner in an upstairs bedroom or a chest freezer down in the basement, choose full-service so your Loaders carry it out from inside.

Borrowing a neighbor's trailer, hauling a sagging sectional out of an old farmhouse, then losing a Saturday to the drive is a familiar Midwest ritual. Your Loader handles the lifting from the barn, basement, or back bedroom instead. Your Loader genuinely enjoys showing up for Morrison neighbors, and that never gets old.
Hauling a heavy item out is only half the job, because where it ends up matters too. In Morrison, your Loader sorts each item by condition, so usable pieces and recyclables stay out of the landfill when local options allow.
Furniture and household goods in good, clean condition may be set aside for donation when possible. Your Loader handles the lifting, and availability depends on what local donation channels can accept at the time.
Items that are worn or damaged but still hold recyclable material, like metal frames or some appliances and electronics, may be recycled where available. Your Loader sorts them out when local recycling options allow.
Heavily damaged, soiled, or broken-down bulky items, like a water-ruined sectional or rotted lumber from an outbuilding, go to proper disposal. Your Loader handles the loading so nothing gets left behind or dumped.
Morrison's code makes setting out trash in violation of its solid waste chapter unlawful, and the city can refuse collection. Here is what applies in Morrison and Whiteside County.
Morrison collects yard waste on regular refuse day, and twice weekly in October and November for leaf season. Brush must be in approved containers or tied in bundles no longer than 48 inches and no heavier than 35 pounds, never mixed with household garbage.
Whiteside County's electronics recycling drop-off behind its Highway Department is open 24/7 to county residents on the honor system. Tube TVs must be intact with the glass unbroken, appliances are not accepted, and weekday office hours offer help with large items.
Morrison's weekly brown-lid toter covers ordinary household refuse only. For large bulky items, the city directs residents to schedule a priced pickup with Republic Services, and the city code's bulky waste definition excludes construction debris, automobile parts, and hazardous waste.
Morrison prohibits open burning of garbage, refuse, rubbish, or any other substance except landscape waste. That means old furniture, lumber scraps, cardboard, and cleanout leftovers cannot be burned in a backyard pit and need to go through a legal disposal route.
Whiteside County's free household hazardous waste collection, held in spring 2026 by pre-registered appointment, accepts items like oil-based and latex paint, antifreeze, and pesticides. Business, institutional, and agricultural waste is not accepted, and neither are automotive or lead acid batteries.
Morrison's recycling toter is collected every other week and accepts cardboard boxes, including any size appliance or electronic goods boxes. Boxes should go in loose rather than bundled, everything must fit inside the toter, and nothing left outside it is picked up.

(678) 884-4738Only what the city's solid waste rules allow. Morrison's Code of Ordinances, Chapter 46, governs what can be placed for curbside collection and how. Piles of extra junk outside those rules can be treated as improper dumping, so call City Hall first.
LoadUp pricing for junk removal in Morrison starts at $80. That price includes the base pickup fee for the first item, and each additional item is a flat add-on charge. Curbside or driveway pickup takes $5 off, and the exact total is confirmed before booking.
Sometimes. Availability depends on the schedule and your address, so enter your Morrison address during booking to see the open time slots. Curbside items usually don't need anyone home, and for in-home pickups you can leave access instructions.
Whiteside County runs an e-recycling drop-off behind the Highway Department at 18819 Lincoln Rd. The county has held household hazardous waste events with the Illinois EPA in the past. Those events aren't a permanent service, so paint, chemicals and similar items often need separate handling.
Loaders aim to donate usable items and recycle what they can, depending on what local charities and recyclers accept. Items that can't be reused or recycled are taken to an appropriate disposal facility. Donation and recycling outcomes can't be guaranteed for every item.
You book online, pick the items and a time window, and see your total before confirming. On pickup day your Loader arrives, does the lifting, and removes the junk from your house, garage, yard or curb. You don't need to haul anything to the curb yourself.
The main difference is the pricing model. Traditional haulers like 1-800-GOT-JUNK and Junk King usually price by truckload, often after an estimate. LoadUp prices per item online, with the total confirmed before booking. For big cleanouts, truckload pricing can sometimes make more sense.
