Junk has a way of piling up until getting rid of it becomes its own project. LoadUp keeps it simple in the City of Murals: book online, see your price, pick a day.
So you start asking around. A call about what the trash crew will actually take, a look at landfill hours, two quotes requested and one hauler who never calls back. Two weekends later, nothing has moved.
City trash service is built around the cart: everything bagged, lid closed, container pulled clear of fences and parked cars. A mattress or a water heater was never going to make that cut, and outside city limits you are not on the route at all.
Most haulers want to see the load in person before quoting, so you schedule an appointment just to learn a number. Then the price rides on how much of the truck you fill, judged by eye in your driveway, with their truck already idling.
Thrift and reuse stores have to resell what you drop off, so condition decides everything: no rips, no stains, no missing hardware, nothing that sat in a damp shed all winter. Whatever they turn down is back in your truck and still yours.
A roll-off means a rental window measured in days, a flat spot where it can sit without blocking the alley or a shared drive, and a delivery schedule you work around. For one room's worth, you rent a container that stays mostly empty.

A chest freezer wedged in a detached garage or a sleeper sofa down narrow basement stairs is routine work for your Loaders. Every Loader is background checked and rated by real locals in Delta after each job.
If the old mattress and shop debris are already stacked in the driveway or out by the gravel pull-through, curbside is the simpler and cheaper route. Choose full service when the items are still inside a basement, a back bedroom, or an outbuilding across the property, and your Loaders will carry them out for you.

Nearly everyone in Delta owns a truck, or knows who to call to borrow one. The vehicle was never the hard part. It is the second set of hands, the free afternoon, and a drive to a facility that may close before you get there. Your Loaders do the lifting, and they like the folks they meet here.
Most of what leaves a Delta garage or shed still has some life in it, and plenty does not. Your Loaders sort a load by condition, so usable pieces stay out of a landfill when possible.
Furniture, working appliances, and household goods in clean, resale-ready shape can move on to secondhand outlets when local options allow. If you want a receipt, donate those pieces yourself before scheduling a pickup.
Items too worn to resell still hold metal, wood, or usable parts, which get separated for recycling where available. Options out here are thinner than in a metro area, so some materials travel farther.
Soaked mattresses, rusted swing sets, and furniture left out through a Delta winter end up at a permitted landfill or transfer station. Your Loaders carry that weight out so you skip the drive.
Put the wrong item out in Delta and it simply stays at the curb, because City of Delta and Delta County rules decide what moves.
Delta sanitation crews empty the assigned 90 gallon container, and the lid has to close. Furniture and anything too bulky to fit are listed as prohibited, so they stay behind unless hauled to the county landfill.
The Electronic Recycling Jobs Act has prohibited landfill disposal of televisions, monitors, computers, printers, laptops, DVD players and game consoles statewide since July 2013. Adobe Buttes Landfill cannot accept them, so they must reach a recycler.
City refuse rules prohibit refrigerants and CFCs in the trash container. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are accepted at Adobe Buttes Landfill under a per unit charge higher than stoves or washers, because refrigerant must be recovered first.
Concrete, brick, steel and heavy construction waste are banned from city containers. Adobe Buttes accepts construction and demolition debris, roofing and uncontaminated concrete or soil by the ton, so dense loads cost more than bulky ones.
Delta excludes large logs and limbs thicker than two inches from refuse collection. Brush and yard cleanup go to Adobe Buttes, while a local compost facility takes clean branches, leaves and grass clippings without trash, concrete or dirt.
Colorado law requires trash loads to be covered or otherwise secured, and spilling a load is a traffic infraction. Delta County charges double the normal disposal fee for uncovered or unsecured loads, and staff may refuse prohibited materials.

(678) 884-4738The City of Delta collects regular refuse within city limits, but bulky items like furniture and appliances are not part of standard curbside pickup. For questions on what the trucks take, call Public Works at (970) 874-7913. Larger loads usually need a hauler or a trip to the county landfill.
LoadUp pricing for junk removal in Delta starts at $75 for a single bulky item, and curbside or driveway pickup takes $5 off. The first item includes the base pickup fee, and each additional item is a flat add-on charge, so your full total is confirmed upfront before you book.

Adobe Buttes Landfill takes most household junk but charges per item for certain goods, like $40 for refrigerators and Freon appliances and $15 per mattress or box spring. All loads must be covered and secured, and dumping prohibited materials can bring a $100 fine. Loaders handle these items and the sorting for you.
Loaders sort loads and try to donate or recycle whatever they can before the rest goes to the landfill. Delta County residents can also drop recyclables free at the Austin Recycling Center, and the City accepts clean cardboard at 640 West 4th Street. Reuse always depends on item condition and local acceptance.
You pick your items online for an upfront price, choose a date, and confirm. On pickup day, Loaders call about 30 minutes ahead, handle the heavy lifting, and haul everything off. For curbside pickups you don't need to be home, just leave items out with access notes at booking.
It comes down to pricing model and booking. Truck-based haulers like 1-800-GOT-JUNK and Junk King charge by how full the truck gets and often quote in person, so your price isn't locked until they arrive. LoadUp prices per item online and confirms the total before anyone drives out to Delta.
