Hot Tub Removal
That hot tub stopped working years ago, and now it just takes up space you could actually use. Book a pickup and get your yard back.
A hot tub isn't a curbside pickup job. Your Loaders bring the equipment, the muscle, and the know-how to get it out of your backyard and gone for good.
See My PriceSee your exact price before you book. No surprise fees after your Loaders show up, no charges added for heavy or oversized items.
Same-day pickup is available when you book before noon. No waiting weeks for a city bulk pickup that may never come.
Your Loaders work from wherever the hot tub sits, whether that's a fenced backyard, an elevated deck, or a tight patio corner.
Hot tub shells, metal frames, and motor components may be recycled where local options allow, keeping usable materials out of the landfill when possible.
Your Loaders handle the full weight and bulk of a hot tub, including breaking it down on-site when a gate, fence, or deck makes moving it whole impossible. Every Loader is background-checked and rated by real customers after every job.

No waiting on callbacksYour Loaders arrive, assess access, and carry or break down the hot tub and haul it away. Components are recycled where local options allow.
No in-person chargesHot tub removal pricing is based on the size and configuration of the unit, how many pieces it needs to be broken into for removal, and the access conditions on your property. A tub on an open patio is straightforward; one behind a narrow gate or on an elevated deck may require additional on-site disassembly, which is factored into your upfront price before you book.
Please drain the hot tub of all water before your pickup appointment, and make sure any electrical, gas, or plumbing connections are fully disconnected by a licensed professional ahead of time. Your Loaders handle the lifting, breaking down, and hauling, but they do not perform electrical, gas, or plumbing disconnection work.
LoadUp picks up above-ground hot tubs and spas in a wide range of sizes, styles, and conditions.
Your booking total is transparent from the start. Optional adjustments like on-site disassembly, tight access conditions, or additional items are clearly shown during checkout so your final price is accurate and surprise-free when your Loaders arrive.
The more you remove, the more you save. Discounts apply in real time as items are added.
Stairs add time and labor, which is factored in upfront to keep pricing fair for everyone.
For items that need to be taken apart, add disassembly to your booking during checkout.
Choose whether eligible items should be donated when possible during checkout.
Your Loaders prioritize recycling hot tub components, including metal frames, motors, and shell materials, where local facilities allow. Disposal outcomes vary based on item condition and what recycling options are available in your area.

(678) 884-4738Hot tub removal starts at $875. Final price depends on the tub's size, whether it can come out whole or needs to be cut apart on-site, and how difficult the access is, including stairs, fencing, or deck height. You'll see your upfront price before confirming anything.
Yes. Your hot tub needs to be fully drained before your Loaders arrive. A full tub can weigh several thousand pounds once the water's factored in, so draining isn't optional. Do this at least a day ahead to make sure it's completely empty.
Not in the way you'd disassemble furniture. A hot tub shell is a single molded piece with no seams to take apart. If it won't fit through a gate or off a deck whole, your Loaders will cut it into sections on-site instead. That's demolition, not disassembly, and it's factored into your price if your access details suggest it'll be needed.
No. If your hot tub is hardwired to a 240-volt circuit, which most full-size models are, that needs to be disconnected by a licensed electrician before your appointment, not just switched off at the breaker. If you have a plug-and-play 120-volt portable model, unplugging it is enough. Either way, this needs to be done before your Loaders arrive, or the job can't move forward that day.
Usually, yes, but it depends on the setup. A freestanding tub on a deck can typically be removed depending on the stairs, railings, and exit route. If your gate is narrower than the tub, which is common since standard gates run 32 to 36 inches, your Loaders may need to cut the tub apart on-site or ask about removing a fence panel. A tub built into the deck itself is a different job and may need some structural work first, so it helps to describe your setup when booking.
A hot tub isn't one material; it's a mix of metal, fiberglass or acrylic, foam, and wiring. Metal components like the frame, pump, and wiring are recycled where local options allow. The fiberglass or acrylic shell and foam insulation are harder to recycle, and many facilities don't accept them, so those usually go to an approved waste facility depending on what's available in your area.
If it still works, yes, that's often worth trying first. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and local community groups are common places to list one. The catch is that whoever takes it needs a way to move several hundred pounds themselves, which is why plenty of interested people never actually follow through. A tub that leaks or hasn't run in years is much harder to give away, and removal usually becomes the more realistic option at that point.
Disconnecting a hardwired 240-volt hot tub typically costs $200 to $500 through a licensed electrician. That's a separate appointment and cost from your removal booking, and it needs to happen first since a hardwired tub can't be removed while still connected.
It comes down to size and access. Most hot tubs are wider than a standard gate opening, which typically runs 32 to 36 inches, and the shell itself is one solid molded piece with nowhere to fold or collapse. When there's no way to route it out whole, cutting it into smaller sections with a reciprocating saw is the only practical option left.
