Junk has a way of piling up until it's one more thing you're putting off. Book a pickup in Evergreen, see your price up front, and get your space back.
You look up the city's pickup rules, leave a message, and call a couple of haulers. One quotes vaguely, one never calls back. Weeks later, the junk is still sitting in the carport, waiting.
Municipal pickup schedules can be a real help, but they usually come with limits on what goes out, how much, and when. You may need to call ahead and haul everything to the curb yourself, which doesn't help when the heavy stuff is stuck in a back bedroom.
Many haulers want to come out and look before giving you a number, then price by how much of the truck you fill. It's hard to know what you'll pay until the work is underway, and that's not where anyone wants surprises.
Donation spots have good reasons to be selective. Stains, broken parts, or simple wear can mean a no, and options around a small county seat may be limited. You're still left loading, driving, and figuring out what to do with whatever gets turned away.
A roll-off container makes sense for a full gut job, not clearing out one room or a shed. You may be dealing with drop-off timing, a big box taking up your driveway or yard for days, and doing all the heavy lifting yourself anyway.

If storm-downed limbs or an old riding mower are already sitting by the driveway on a bigger lot, curbside keeps things simple. If you're clearing out an older family home or the back room of a downtown storefront, full-service means Loaders carry everything out from where it sits.

Hauling a sagging sofa out of the garage in a south Alabama July is a quick way to lose an afternoon, and the humidity keeps its grip for days. Skip the sweat. Your Loaders handle the lifting, carrying, and loading, and they genuinely like showing up for folks in this town.
Bulky items pile up fast in older Evergreen homes, and where they end up matters as much as getting them out. Your Loaders sort each item by condition, so reuse and recycling happen when local options allow.
Furniture and household goods that are clean and in good shape may be set aside for donation when local options allow. Outlets can be limited in a small city, so this is never guaranteed.
Items that are worn or damaged but not fit for donation may be recycled where available, such as scrap metal or appliances. Recycling outlets near Conecuh County can be limited, so this depends on what is nearby.
Heavily damaged, soiled, or broken bulky items that cannot be reused or recycled are taken for responsible disposal. Your Loaders handle the lifting and loading, so you don't have to haul anything to a landfill yourself.
Dumping a load along a rural road can mean a criminal littering charge, and burning the wrong debris invites state enforcement. These rules apply in Evergreen and across Conecuh County.
Alabama charges a fee on new tire sales to fund scrap tire cleanup, and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management regulates scrap tire storage and hauling. In this humid climate, tires left outside collect rainwater and quickly breed mosquitoes.
Under Alabama law, leaving furniture, mattresses, or other junk on public roads or on private property without the owner's permission is criminal littering, a misdemeanor. Unwanted items need to go through local collection or a permitted landfill.
In heavily wooded Conecuh County, any outdoor fire covering more than a quarter acre or set within 25 feet of woodland or grassland requires an Alabama Forestry Commission burn permit. During drought fire alerts, permits are restricted or halted.
Unlike many states, Alabama has not passed an electronics recycling law, so acceptance of old TVs and computer equipment depends on the local collection service and landfill. Wiping hard drives before disposal remains the owner's responsibility.
Federal Clean Air Act rules require refrigerant to be recovered from refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners before they are scrapped or landfilled. Venting it is illegal, which is why many scrap yards require proof the refrigerant was properly removed.
Alabama's open burning rules limit legal burns largely to vegetation and untreated wood, and they bar burning items containing rubber, heavy oils, or asphaltic materials like roofing shingles. Remodeling debris belongs at a permitted landfill instead.

For curbside or driveway pickups, no. Leave the items out with any access notes. For items inside your home, someone should be there, or you can leave entry instructions when you book. Your Loader gives notice before arriving.
Hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, pesticides, and batteries generally can't go in household trash or on a haul-away truck. Large bulky loads and construction debris may also be refused by local haulers. Conecuh County officials can confirm local disposal rules.
Loaders aim to keep usable items out of the landfill. Depending on acceptance, items in good shape may go to donation partners, and recyclable materials are sorted for recycling whenever possible. What can't be donated or recycled goes to an appropriate disposal facility.
You pick your items online, see the price, and choose a time window. Your Loader contacts you before arriving, picks up the items, and hauls them away. The price you are quoted is confirmed upfront, before anyone shows up.
The main difference is the pricing model and booking flow. Traditional haulers often price by truckload and may estimate on site. LoadUp prices per item online and confirms the total before booking. For big cleanouts, a truckload hauler can still be a fit.
